Description

A gentle companion for parents navigating the loss of a child after prolonged illness.

With guided sections for remembering your child and reflecting on your own healing, and space to check in whenever you need, this journal invites you to honour their life, care for your heart, and move at your own pace without pressure or expectation.

You will also find insight into how grief affects the body, along with practical, evidence based self-care tools to support you through the heavier days.

Wherever you are in your journey, this journal offers a safe place for your love, your memories, and your healing.

Created in collaboration with HAS Foundation and a licensed therapist, the prompts in this journal are designed to lend a helping hand during the healing journey.

A note about who this journal is for:
This journal is designed for parents who have lost a child after some time of illness; a child who had time to grow, develop their personality, and create memories with you.

Many of the guided prompts invite you to reflect on your child’s life, interests, personality and the memories you shared. If your child died during birth, shortly after birth, or before you had the opportunity to create these kinds of memories together, another grief resource may be a better fit for your experience.
